Originally from Vancouver and a graduate of Simon Fraser University, I’ve called Edmonton home since 2001. I began my career as an accountant at Grant Thornton before refining my skills in the tax group at KPMG. These early experiences set the foundation for my oversight of the small business bookkeeping, personal, corporate, and trust tax filings at CS Tax.

I grew up on a farm in Saskatchewan, where I learned the importance of hard work and taking on responsibility early in life. That foundation of dedication and determination has guided me throughout my career.

I’ve lived in various places, starting in England and France before moving to Montreal for university, where I earned my degree in accounting. After some time in Vancouver, I eventually settled in Calgary. Early in my career, I built a strong foundation in the land development business, and later expanded my expertise in corporate tax, working as both an internal CPA and with an international accounting firm.

I grew up in rural Saskatchewan, where I learned the value of hard work, community, and family. After earning my degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 2005, I pursued my passion for numbers and became a Certified Management Accountant in 2008.

Mitchel graduated from Grant MacEwan University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting. Mitchel helps in the preparation of the small business bookkeeping, and various tax filings.

Since joining CS Tax over a year ago, my focus has been on supporting the tax team and ensuring that clients’ tax returns are accurate and submitted on time. I take pride in my attention to detail and strong sense of responsibility, consistently delivering results that exceed expectations.

Kadence is currently pursuing a Science degree at Grant MacEwan University.

Nick is currently completing a Business degree at University of Alberta.
